Pengembangan Sistem Informasi Pelayanan POSYANDU Terpadu Berbasis Website Menggunakan Metode Rational Unified Process

Abstract

Community health services through Integrated Health Posts (POSYANDU) play an important role in improving maternal, child, and elderly health. However, manual data recording and reporting processes often lead to data redundancy, document loss, reporting delays, and inefficient health service management. This study aimed to develop a web-based POSYANDU information system capable of improving administrative effectiveness and health service quality. The research adopted the Research and Development (R&D) approach with the Rational Unified Process (RUP) software development methodology consisting of Inception, Elaboration, Construction, and Transition phases. The system was developed using PHP Native, MySQL database, and Data Flow Diagram (DFD) together with Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) for system modeling. The developed application manages POSYANDU data including toddlers, pregnant women, elderly citizens, schedules, and reporting modules. Black-box testing demonstrated that every system function operated successfully according to the expected requirements. The developed system provides faster data processing, structured information management, automatic report generation, and facilitates health workers and POSYANDU cadres in delivering community health services.
