Penerapan Aplikasi Tabungan Bank Sampah Digital di Bank Sampah Indah Makmur, Kabupaten Cirebon

Abstract

The Indah Makmur waste bank is an organization initiated by Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) of Kedungbunder village, Gempol district, Cirebon Regency to support the government’s waste management program by implementing the 3R principles (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle). In addition, the Indah Makmur Waste Bank was created to educate and build a good waste management behavior to the people. However, the large number of customers that registered at Indah Makmur waste bank makes the administrator overwhelmed in managing data because the administration records are still done manually. The manual administration recording causes the data to be messy, hard to manage, unsecured, and inefficient because the administrators have to write the data several times in the several books. The purpose of this study is to help solve the existing data management problems by building and implementing a Web-Based Waste Bank Savings Application at Indah Makmur waste bank. To build this application, the author uses Rapid Application Development (RAD) method with PHP as the programming language and MySql as the database system. The existence of this web-based waste bank savings application can help speed up the process of recording transactions, simplify the data management process, and maintain the security of waste bank data.
